What is Fasfa?

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) is a form that can be prepare annually by current and prospective college students (undergraduate and graduate) in the United States to determine their eligibility for student financial aid.

what is the sat?

The SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) is a test owned, developed and published by College board. The SAT reflects closely in what students learned in high school.

what is the act?

Is a college readiness and standardized test for high school students and considered for college admission. The required portion of the ACT is divided into four multiple choice subject test: English, mathematics, reading and science reasoning.

what are a-g requirements? 

A-G is a list of courses that are required for all students applying for UC's and Cal States. AVID helps students make sure they are on track by taking these courses. Also, AVID helps students be more competitive by encouraging them to take the recommended courses.
